\nSleep Programming As you relax and drift into first-stage sleep, the cycle-per-second activity of your brain slows down to alpha. The second level of theta precedes deep delta sleep. Alpha and theta are the levels accessed for hypnosis programming. So suggestions delivered at these mental levels are as effective as hypnotic mind programming. And a US Government Technical Services research report on sleep programming indicates that even in deep delta sleep, the suggestions are very effective. All you have to do is listen as you go to sleep. Mastered as approximately 50-minute sessions, the programs begin with Dick Sutphen directing a relaxation. Behind his voice and soothing music is a brain/mind âfollow-responseâ sound that helps to put you to sleep. When the relaxation is complete you hear nearly 2,000 words of paced and repeated suggestions, phrased for acceptance by all levels of your mind. The words fade away at the end of each CD, directing you to sleep soundly through the night and to awaken refreshed, at peace with yourself, and inspired to begin a new day. A spiritual Mega-Kit that truly includes everything you need⊠to become everything you're capable of being. You begin by reprogramming your mind to be more relaxed and stress-free than ever before, while you gain a deep belief in your own worth and power. Then you program your body to heal itself, automatically and rapidly, while you begin to channel your deep mind into the thought patterns developed by the Zen masters. Finally - and all this takes just weeks, or even days - you learn how to find solutions to every waking problem in your dreams.
Most of the American and Russian research was based on reading stories to their sleeping subjects then questioning them when they awakened. The researchers didn't start reading the stories until the subjects had been asleep at least an hour, which would assure a level of deep sleep.
The following are quotes directly from the report:
âThere can be no doubt that a sleeping person can also perceive speech without distorting it. Evidence of this is to be found in the observations of physicians who have treated children by âreeducation during natural sleep.' When they awoke the next morning, the children did not know that they had perceived speech during their sleep, but the therapeutic effect that they manifested was evidence that they had assimilated the speech.
âThe data shows that it is possible in some cases, during natural nocturnal sleep, to perceive speech: lectures, stories, chapters from books of literary, philosophical, technical, and other content, as well as words of a foreign language, either uttered by known or unknown persons or reproduced by a tape recorder. The speech that is perceived under these conditions is assimilated, does not undergo distortion, and can be reproduced after the subject awakens.
âIt was shown by the experiments that were performed that of the 25 subjects selected by us for testing, 20 were found experimentally to be capable of developing an ability to perceive speech during natural sleep.â

\nAll you have to do is listen to the CD/MP3 as you go to sleep. After the body relaxation is complete you hear nearly 2000 words of paced and repeated suggestions, phrased for acceptance by all levels of your mind. The works fade away at the end of the program, directing you to sleep soundly.
Altered-State Instructions:
Headphones Will Enhance Your Altered-State Experience
Never use an altered-state program in a moving auto or while doing other things, because each session is structured to generate a dreamy state of consciousness.
- \n
Make yourself comfortable lying down or sitting up.
\nAssure that you wonât be interrupted.
\nTake two or three minutes to unwind by breathing deeply.
\nTurn on the player, close your eyes and follow instructions. Vividly imagine the situations described.
\nIf for any reason you need to awaken before the session is complete, verbally count yourself up from one to five and say the words, âWide Awake.â
Please do not have expectations of feeling âtranced out.â Your body will feel relaxed, your mind may or may not feel dreamy, but youâll remain aware of your surroundings, and all the while youâll be mentally accepting any suggestions that are part of the program. The better you are able to imagine, the more effective the session will be.
